基于BSD的类UNIX操作系统OpenBSD 6.2版本于今天正式发布，引入了最新的组件，更好的硬件支持以及大量安全改进。和OpenBSD的首个维护版本相隔6个月时间，第二个版本引入了大量改进，更好地支持各种ARM主板，强化IEEE 801.11无线堆栈以及一些常规网络堆栈改进。
OpenBSD 6.2还带来了大量vmm和vmd改进，增强了routing daemons和其他userland网络组件，改进安装器以及一些dhcpd, dhcrelay和dhclient。现在64位和32位版本默认使用LLVM/Clang 5.0.0版本，包括OpenSMTPD 6.0.0, OpenSSH 7.6和LibreSSL 2.6.3等核心组件也已经得到优化。
除了上述组件之外，OpenBSD 6.2还搭载了X.Org 7.7, X.Org Server 1.18.4, Mesa 13.0.6, KDE 3.5.10 and 4.14.3, GNOME 3.24.2, Xfce 4.12, GCC 4.9.4, Emacs 21.4 and 25.3, Lua 5.1.5, 5.2.4, and 5.3.4, Go 1.9, Mutt 1.9.1 and NeoMutt 20170912, Node.js 6.11.2, Ocaml 4.03.0, OpenLDAP 2.3.43 and 2.4.45, Postfix 3.2.2 以及3.3-20170910, PostgreSQL 9.6.5, as well as Python 2.7.14以及3.6.2。
